Would love to see @MaintenancePod do an episode discussing the lit. & myths behind red dye 40, gluten, and casein “causing” autism and ADHD. There is negligible support for diet impacting neurodivergence & the messaging that diet “cures” these disorders is harmful, imo.

Today was my 1st day back working with kids after 3 months on an adult inpatient rotation and I used my knowledge of Twilight & my alliance with #TeamJacob to successfully de-escalate a client. Oh how I’ve missed child psych 🫶

🧚 I’ve seen some misinformation about getting help for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Treatment for OCD includes EXRP (Exposure & Response Prevention) therapy. EXRP helps people face their fears with exposures, while also teaching them how to not then engage in compulsions.
