πŸ”¬ The Quantitative Sciences program brought research, community, and a little adventure together at their 2026 Retreat at the Health Museum recently. Students shared the depth and range of their work through pre- and post-candidacy talks and poster presentations. The group also welcomed keynote speaker Kamila Naxerova, PhD, associate professor of Genetics at Harvard, who spoke on somatic evolution in health and disease, with a focus on metastasis progression in colorectal cancer. Between sessions, a scavenger hunt, great food, and time together created space for conversation and collaboration. Congratulations to this year’s award winners for outstanding presentations and research! πŸŽ₯ Take a look at some of our favorite moments from the day. #WeAreGSBS #QuantitativeSciences
