The Mishawaka Education Foundation held a career day for Mishawaka high school juniors and seniors Thursday. Twenty vendors talked to students and gave them information about their businesses. Thank you to the MEF and all of our participants for making this a successful event.

Mishawaka hosted 1300 8th graders from all over the area today for CPR Training. The kids heard from survivors and learned the lifesaving skill of hands-only CPR. Each Student was able to keep their manikin so they could practice and share their knowledge with others.

Bid now until August 31st on donated Art Items from the Mishawaka Penn Harris Public Library. Several of the pieces were created from artists with Mishawaka roots. All of the proceeds will go toward helping students and teachers at Mishawaka Schools.

Mishawaka is excited to partner with Pulse FM and Family Broadcasting to be on 3 radio stations and Mishawaka Network this Fall. The "Voice of the Cavemen" will continue to be Brian Miller for football and boys and girls basketball.
