Some twit hit my car that was parked where I'm staying, then just left. No note, no oops my bad, nothing. The manager of the place saw it happen and said the driver stopped checked the damage on their car, didn't even look at mine and drove off.

I used to be a long haul flatbed truck driver . Once a week I picked up a load in Americus, Ga. , on my way home I drove through Plains, Ga right by President Carter’s house. It wasn’t hidden away from the public, only a simple guard shack and a basic wooden fence.

Yes the house was set back a bit from the road nestled in some trees and I’m sure there was security that wasn’t visible but it showed that he was a humble man despite being the leader of the free world at one point.

This is the USS North Carolina (BB-55) which is now a museum ship at Wilmington,NC. I was able to visit her a few years ago and was lucky enough that several of the crew that served on this ship were there as docents. If you like Naval history this is a visit worth the trip!

I worked for a company that during a mandatory driver meeting in October they told us that we exceed expectations and were on track to hit well over the goal for the year. One week before Xmas our EARNED bonus was cut by half.
Found out later that one of the owners had to payout
