On Tuesday, we had the privilege of hosting our valued partner, the Rwanda Social Security Board @RSSB_Rwanda , for the Mike Stenbock Gemura Kitchen (MSGK) – CHUK visit, a meaningful moment of collaboration, learning, and shared purpose. The visit was led by their CEO, @Regis_Rugema , who had the opportunity to see firsthand how our partnership is being implemented on the ground and the impact it continues to generate within CHUK and beyond. This visit was a strong demonstration of commitment to understanding operational realities and strengthening the systems that underpin high-impact, sustainable nutrition and healthcare solutions. During the visit, we conducted a guided walkthrough of our operations, shared key insights from implementation, and reflected on the progress achieved through our joint efforts in building resilient, high-functioning systems that support nutrition, patient care, and institutional efficiency. We sincerely thank all the RSSB team for taking the time to be with us, for their engagement, and for their continued trust in this work. Thank you for walking this journey with us. #FarmtoPlate #SolidAfrica #RSSB #publicnutrition

“Why do you live alone if your family is in Kigali too!?” Because I want to and I can afford it. And even if there were a hundred other reasons, do I owe anyone an explanation!? Eww!!! The way some people stay invested in other’s personal business is soooo fascinating!!

Earlier today, we had the honour of welcoming the Strategy & Policy Council from @UrugwiroVillage to Solid’Africa. They explored our Farm-to-Plate model and the full scope of our nutrition infrastructure. From production at our Rugende farm to meal preparation at our Rusororo industrial kitchen, which produces up to 23,000 meals daily for patients and students across Kigali, This visit highlighted our integrated system designed to strengthen nutrition security, support local supply chains, and advance our ongoing partnership with the Government of Rwanda. #FarmtoPlate #NutritionSecurity #Rwanda

To think that I didn’t like the song “TUZA” and didn’t want it on my project is why team work will always make sense. Madebeats looked at me like Im crazy. ❤️🇷🇼 S/O to him.

There is something that becomes so real when you actually go into the picture room in the Kigali Genocide Memorial because these people aren't just numbers; they had parties, weddings, careers, graduations, baptisms, dreams and aspirations...

« We have nothing in common with Burundi » Burundi is the only country in the world where you can speak kinyarwanda and still be able to communicate with locals? Sometimes we let our ignorance or simply our carelessness or imprudence dictate our thoughts. Don’t let politics fool you a few years ago Rwanda was on bad terms with Uganda. Burundians aren’t bad neighbours ask people who fled there in 1959s.
I think Rwandans should be aligned with Ugandans and leave out Burundi. We have nothing in common with Burundi. they’re just bad neighbors!

As commemoration week ends, but Kwibuka continues. As a young person, did you truly learn something or all you did was monitor who did and didn’t post? As a tip, one thing that helps me to stay grounded and focused. Each year, I focus on a specific topic and study it deeply. This year, I explored the humanitarian crisis during and after the genocide and how it was addressed; last year, I examined the genocide from the perpetrators’ perspective. Thats just few of many topics. Let’s not make commemoration just a routine or performative, let it be a time to learn.

Advise people by all means but do so in such a way that people will want to listen to you. Don’t be mean and hurtful. Don’t use harsh words and turn them off. Be genuine in wanting to correct their ways and help them get back on track. Your sincerity will long be remembered.
