Fox sports advising B1G to expand and USC and UCLA are the prime candidates being eyed (as I told you 6 months ago). How B1G will they go though?

Eager to silence their critics that are starting to come out of the woodwork, the SEC is speeding up their timeline for additions to the conference. Expect the grant of rights of the ACC to be challenged very publicly and very directly very soon.

It’s a good thing short term for WVU and all other members but hedging our bets on a breakaway with the other power conferences is the riskiest venture in CFB history.

Big12 selling its soul to private equity-it’s been almost 2 years in the making. Reported here first way back when (with TKO at that point). Michigan and USC keep fighting the good fight -but it’s a lost cause. B10 will be next

I don’t ever ask any of my followers for anything- and that’s not what I’m doing here. This book is special to me and I want to share it with a broader audience than it may get otherwise. Great last-minute gift idea 😉 a.co/d/cuzvFOb

We literally have reports coming out about the playoff committee guaranteeing the ACC a spot in the playoff regardless of the outcome of the championship game. Collusion.

The Notre Dame situation is going to lay bare much of the corruption in college football. How much of it will even matter in the public’s perception?

Yormark feels that adding Notre Dame as a partial member is a poison pill for any Conference despite heavy support internally from the big 12 athletic directors to pursue that as an option. BY completely sabotaged that effort last night with his statements. Crazy stuff.

In other news-beating the big 10 to the punch, Utah put the final nail in NCAA football by continuing on with private equity after the Big12 passed on it.

Yormark’s comments on ND surprised even my source. Something else is happening behind the scenes that we aren’t privy to yet

Notre Dame is preparing to list damages that they are going to argue the ACC is liable for. I’m assuming this is how they are going to try to get out of the buyout.

On the football side of things, Notre Dame only realistically needs 4 to 6 games a year to fill out their schedule. The big 12 has a large inventory of quality teams to choose from every year that are also needing to schedule games outside of the Conference schedule

West Virginia and Cincinnati leadership are trying to convince the big 12 leadership to propose adding UCONN alongside Notre Dame as partial members if Miami is not on the table

The Big Ten and Notre Dame had already previously worked out the Irish joining as a full member post 2030. At least they thought they had. The immediate souring of the relationship with the ACC may have forced the Irish to show their hand.

The big 12 already has a proposal laid out for adding Gonzaga and Uconn from a while back. If those projections and estimates remain the same, they can potentially offer Notre Dame about $8 to $10 million a year on the next television contract as a partial member.

Big12 is working on a proposal to add ND as a partial member. You’d have to fire Yormark for not doing his due diligence if he did not pursue.

Here’s where it gets crazy. Notre Dame is potentially shopping Miami as a partner. Miami would be an all sports partner.

Notre Dame continues to pursue multi year scheduling agreements with top-tier opponents, but still needs a scheduling arrangement with a Conference to fill out their schedule every year

I’m hearing the Big Ten has already told Notre Dame it’s all sports or nothing. Talks are being had with the big east as well as the big 12 and SEC currently.

I’m told that ND has already informed ACC they are going to go through the process of exiting the conference. How soon they are able to negotiate the exit is going to be a closely watched decision process by certain full members

Notre Dame is exiting ACC for non-football sports and is currently looking for a new home. Expect an announcement by the end of Jan. This is breaking.
