The role has changed but the salary hasn’t. Long-gone are the days of sharpening pencils, making displays and washing paint pots. 90pc of the time we’re teaching - either through interventions or covering PPA & absence. Sort it out @nadhimzahawi @NEUnion #edutwitter #TA

If only Teaching Assistants were valued and paid a decent wage for a decent day’s work 🧐🤔 So many dedicated TAs leave the profession each year because they cannot survive on the wages @nadhimzahawi It really is time for a change 👍
