What an unbelievable weekend. The amount of support, encouragement, and love that I’ve gotten has been inspiring. I had been feeling very down on myself after Atlanta (4-4) but this performance breathed life back into me. GG’s! Worlds?

Played against Zhe at my first ever tournament back in SWSH. He was so kind and we had an amazing set which left me hungry for more.
He then went on to win the Milwaukee regional soon after and I was immediately a fan and checked in with him at events.

Well somehow I’ve managed to go 9-0 in the Grand Champions Festival so far! I had a great time playing and might need to buy a heart rate monitor with how close these matches are…

Pokémon Champions and Disney Dreamlight Valley update releasing on the same day (April 8th) tough day to be a couple with 1 Nintendo Switch. Can’t believe my husband is going to have to wait to play champions🤭

So they reworked it, just not in the way I was hoping…
Hopefully there are additions changes to help out stores, or the requirement of it being tied to a game store is lifted to allow spaces like libraries to be used instead due to better internet stability. Not looking great🫠
It is going to be a massive miss from Pokémon to release Champions and not rework how their local tournaments work.
I live within an hour of one of the largest cities in the U.S. and have 1-2 tournaments PER MONTH I can attend. Something needs to change to capture new players!

I changed my address to reflect my current one in early January and haven’t received my 2025 card yet, which leads me to believe I was too late.

Maybe a little corny but I wish there was more of a team/org culture in NA VGC similar to how EU is
Even if there’s no financial benefits to being part of a team, it would be cool to have teammates to root for/a group to represent. The scene in its current state is very cliquey.

Exceeded my expectations and managed to make Day 2 and finish with a record of 8-5! I can’t complain about my losses because I faced great players and have a team reliant on RNG in some matchups.
Hoping to keep some of this momentum going into the back half of the season! 192/?

Didn’t get the chance to listen to Day 1 live, but after watching it back (and watching Day 2 today), it’s clear to me that “A to Zheng” needs to be a mainstay segment on stream.
First time in four years of VGC watching I haven’t tuned out during broadcast breaks, great idea!!
