Here's a look at head-to-head predictive accuracy (re: prospect FV grades) between PROSPX, FanGraphs, and MLB Pipeline. On the set of 4,519 players graded by all three, the PROSPX consensus edges out both. The margin is modest & not uniform year-to-year, but it's encouraging!

Samuel Basallo graduated with a 61 consensusFV grade on PROSPX, with some ludicrous tools: 73 PWR, 70 frame, 69 arm, 60 athleticism (tool dev pictured below) I'm a big fan of Basallo's profile as a prospect & believe the Orioles made an incredible move extending Basallo early.
A generational player is beginning to emerge in Baltimore. Samuel Basallo, last 30 games: 30 G | .354 AVG | 35 H | 6 HR | 19 RBI | 16 R | 1.020 OPS The league better start paying attention.
