Our new sheepdog pup, Fynn, managed to get in with the rams….he was amazingly focused & not at all intimidated …. Impressive at 13 weeks old , the downside was trying to get him to leave when he became deaf to calls to come back! #sheepdog #manxloaghtan #farming #isleofman

Shearing today we decided to do our big girls, so after Big Mel we did Daisy. Fleece not quite as big as Mel but still a big girl underneath all the wool! She’s Suffolk/Loaghtan cross but the only hint of Loaghtan is brown back of her head & on her tail. #shearing #isleofman

4th - 10th May was National Hedgerow week. Our hedgerows are made up of hawthorn, blackthorn, gorse, holly, dog rose, honeysuckle & more. Masses of wild flowers underneath, masses of birds, insects, rabbits, hedgehogs. They are just buzzing with life #naturefriendlyfarming #IOM
