✳️ Tier 3 intervention is NOT special education. Tier 3 only means intensive support. Not all who need intensive support have an #IEP. Not all with an IEP need intensive support. #LeadInclusion

It makes little sense to micromanage, because a staff knows their job better than their admin anyway. yes, some may need mentoring, but they all can use support,encouragement, and appreciation. Focus on developing committed leaders, not compliant followers.

Teachers spend $1.6 Billion of their own money ON THEIR STUDENTS EACH year.
This hurts teachers since it’s assumed we are always willing to use our own money. We perpetuate the problem year after year. Besides, teachers aren’t compensated well enough to spend that kind of money.
