I just gave my 9 yo my iPod touch from the early 2000s/2010s. She’s thrilled to be able to listen to music on her own. ❤️Until we get an external CD drive, she’s stuck with “old songs” 😂

I remember feeling discouraged after reading it… that my evidence based practices might not be effective. And that the efficacy of these strategies also depended on growth mindset and/or inclusive practices.
I’m a “being on time is being five min early” person and this morning my 7 yo told me “being on time is not important” and I…. I was not the best parent this morning.
I spent the week coordinating dance recital rehearsals and managing costumes and gear…. So my 4 yo could tell me she waved to daddy (and only daddy) from the stage.
