This is a significant milestone in our long-term vision to improve facilities, support participation growth and secure the future of rugby at Norton Down.
Thank you to everyone who supported the project, contributed to the consultation process and helped shape the plans.
Now the hard work really begins. With planning permission secured, we can focus on fundraising, grant applications and building the partnerships needed to turn these plans into reality.

Watch the PREM Semis at Norton Down this weekend.
We are open from 4pm on Friday for after work club, which is followed by Northampton Saints v Leicester Tigers at 7.45pm.
Then we are open from 12.30pm on Saturday. Come and enjoy a pint in the sun before Bath v Exeter at 3pm.
A huge thank you to Chronologic for their ongoing sponsorship of the Women’s team through match shirts and training tops. The latter are pictured here in sunny Benidorm as well as in a slightly colder Midsomer Norton.
Whether it’s their cloud systems for flexible teams or their heavy-duty biometric face and fingerprint readers that stop “buddy punching” in its tracks, they have a solution for every sideline.
They don’t just sell hardware; they provide the software that makes payroll a breeze and ensures everyone is accounted for local businesses like this that keep grassroots rugby alive. We’re proud to wear a company that values precision, reliability, and teamwork as much as we do.

Sadly Michelle has recently had to battle cancer once more, but remarkably still continued to help throughout including preparations for when the Dutch visited and on plans for this summer’s celebrations.
Everyone at MNRFC wishes to send their love to Michelle - as well as Andy, Jack and Lilyanna - during these difficult times. This is a small token of our appreciation are we will always be here for you during these tough times.
We will do a full round up of awards for the season soon, but this is a special post about Michelle Ball, who won the Joan Carter Cup for her contributions to the club.
Michelle has volunteered tirelessly behind the scenes with the Sunday kitchen as well as driving and helping organise many events including the highly successful Race Night and New Year’s Eve.
