AR Cochrane-Edwards had this to say about the apprenticeship:
When I established that I wanted to go into Engineering, I knew the RAF was the obvious choice. I'm glad that I signed up for this apprenticeship as I can now enter a career confidently.

The RAF will be celebrating women and their rich history in the Service throughout March to mark #WomensHistoryMonth. The month also incorporates #InternationalWomensDay so watch out on our channels for some inspirational stories. #BreakTheBias

Our Stn Cdr was privileged to be able to celebrate India Independence Day yesterday at Cardiff Castle with other members of the Armed Forces from the region.

Yesterday, UWAS students were invited to compete in the CO’s cup, an inter-station sporting competition at MOD St Athan. Students completed a cross fit exercise station, an inflatable ‘hungry hippos’ style game, and an assault course. The team came second overall out of 11 teams!

Air Commodore Sansom was joined by the German Air Attaché to the UK in a wreath laying ceremony in London.
The short service is held annually to honour the personnel of both nations who lost their lives in the service of their country.
