June is Men’s Health Month, a time to raise awareness about preventable health issues and the importance of early detection. At MSCS, we support that mission through our annual Men’s Health Fair, where male employees can receive health screenings and have their vitals checked. During the event, Dr. @rodrichmond1 emphasized the importance of regular checkups and preventative care, while community partners shared resources on mental wellness, physical activity, and meditation.

Last week, our JROTC Department hosted the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) team-building exercise. The JCLC is an immersive, multi-day summer training camp where cadets participate in hands-on leadership, physical fitness, and team-building exercises. As part of our summer initiative to assist families with registration, we'll be hosting MSCS Multilingual Support Hubs throughout the summer for our community. Welcome to the ultimate culinary laboratory, where scholars at White Station Middle School trade textbooks for whisks and turn the kitchen into their own delicious science experiment! At this camp, students deconstructed the food to reveal the fascinating chemistry and physics behind every bite. From mastering the perfect pickle to discovering the chemical reactions that create the creamiest gelato, students had an absolute blast turning raw ingredients into gourmet masterpieces. It’s a high-energy, hands-on experience where the only thing more satisfying than the final taste test is the thrill of uncovering the "why" behind every ingredient.
