New publication from Prof @yuhei_inoue and team on non-mega sport events (NMSEs). Their work illustrates the importance of NMSEs and identifies grassroots sport development legacy as an important mechanism that facilitates sport participation.

Leeds Rhinos have appointed Ian Blease as their new sporting director.
He is the first to hold the sporting director role at the Rhinos and they say he will "provide strategic direction, leadership and oversight of the rugby department".

New regulations incoming for deliberate heading of the ball in youth football 👶⚽️
After two seasons of the IFAB trial in English football, we will now introduce a new rule to phase out deliberate heading in matches in all affiliated grassroots youth football between U7-U11 level over the next three seasons.
