🔵(1/3) @MSF continues to provide water and sanitation services to support the stability of local communities and the return of displaced people. In cooperation with the #Aleppo Water Directorate, MSF inaugurated the Al-Hauta water station near Anjara in western rural Aleppo.
🔵(2/3) Following the full rehabilitation of the well, MSF installed 126 solar panels and equipped the station with the necessary systems to operate and pump safe drinking water.
🔵(3/3) The project will provide clean drinking water to around 7,000 people in the area. Alongside medical activities, MSF also implements support activities, including water and sanitation, to help reduce diseases linked to water and environmental contamination.
📢 Nurses are the voice of care in times of pain, and a hand that reaches out to offer hope before medicine.
Wishing a very happy Nurses’ Day to all nurses 🌼🌸.
📢 In areas affected by war and disasters, nurses are not just part of the medical response, but the first line of defense for life.
On International #Nurses Day, we pay tribute to every nurse who continues to carry out their humanitarian mission despite all challenges.
🔵(1/2) “We recognise and deeply value the dedication of health workers at the Ministry and the Directorate of #Health, who have been central to this collaboration,” says Ulrich Crepin Namfeibona, @MSF Country Manager in Syria.
🔵(2/2) Namfeibona added, “Their sustained efforts over the past three years have been instrumental in ensuring that thousands of people were able to access the care they need. To support continuity of services, we have also provided #medical donations to cover three months.”
📅On #International Day of the #Midwife 🎊, we celebrate women who provide care from the very heart of life itself, standing beside mothers 👩👧👦 in some of the most sensitive and human moments. Wishing all midwives, a happy day every year 🌸🌼.
📢Over three years, @MSF in collaboration with the #Aleppo Health Directorate, provided around 170,215 medical consultations at Darat Izza Primary #Healthcare Center in western Aleppo. These health services contributed to improving people’s access to healthcare in the area.
📢(1/4) In #humanitarian settings marked by rapidly evolving contexts and increasingly complex crises, the ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies becomes a key factor to saving lives.
🔴(3/4) The training aimed to strengthen the readiness of frontline teams by developing their skills in monitoring early warnings, making strategic decisions, and dealing with crises quickly and effectively in complex environments and under high pressure.
🔴(4/4) The training also served as a space to exchange experiences and strengthen coordination among different actors involved in the humanitarian response, contributing to improved preparedness and faster responses when emergencies occur.
Since July 2025, @MSF teams at Khalediya PHCC, in collaboration with #Homs Directorate of Health, have delivered over 6,930 pediatric consultations, 3,678 emergency room consultations, and 248 individual and group mental health sessions.
🔵 In #Syria, as more people come back, signs of life are slowly reappearing in the community. However, meaningful economic recovery remains distant. Most families lack stable income and struggle to cover even basic needs.
After years of displacement, many displaced Syrians are beginning to return to their home cities, determined to rebuild their lives in the rubble of war. But as the patterns of movement shift, so do the health care needs of communities facing a lack of functioning health services
