The death of Hon. Abba Anas Adamu Laushi is a great loss to Jigawa State and Nigeria as a whole. Throughout his lifetime, he made numerous valuable contributions. He served as a former Chairman of Guri Local Government.

His death at the hands of kidnappers is deeply tragic. We call on the government to do everything possible to bring an end to insecurity and kidnapping. We pray that Allah exposes those responsible for this heinous act.
