Clearly, at 4 years old, I was too young to watch The Thing on the big screen the first time round, so I couldn’t pass up a Halloween screening for its 40th Anniversary. As with Alien, seeing it in a cinema amps up the impact to where it almost feels like watching it anew. Class.

Aw man. What a legend. If you’ve not seen Cracker, you must seek it out - Robbie Coltrane at his absolute best.

I have no idea why this made me emotional, but here we are. Another gorgeous piece of music from the man that basically scored my childhood.
John Williams has given the first taste of the music he's penned for next year's Indiana Jones 5... buff.ly/3RmM55w
Hands up, I possibly wouldn’t have gone to see #Hatching, which is why I am always glad I take a punt on @cineworld Secret Screenings. Yet to be let down and tonight’s was some quality entertainment.

I maintain that it doesn’t matter. All that matter to Cobb is that he gets home to his children. Whether it is in head or reality, to him he is where he wanted to be.

I can imagine that if I waited until Friday to watch The Gray Man at home on my several-grades-less than-optimal tele, sweating balls and not in the delightfully air conditioned cinema, sharing the gleefully silly experience with others, I think would be less charitable.
Was Love and Thunder as good as Ragnarok? No. Did it have its faults? Absolutely, the over reliance on humour that doesn’t always land being one. But it’s also a gorgeous looking film with some fun ideas and some great moments.

Alexa - show me an impossible question to answer.
What's your favorite performance by this actor?

Having a Zimmer Day to get me through work. The Pirates score is so good, it makes me forget that they’re not brilliant and make me want to watch the films again. That’s how good.

One of Scott’s favourite movie scenes ever. Absolutely masterful physicality.
Yay physical media. 👍🏻

I can’t lie. I openly cackled at that final stunt in the trailer and that was watching it on my phone. That IMAX screen = 💰

In all of the blowback Multiverse of Madness, it’s making me long for the halcyon days of the Indiana Jones brand of family entertainment with graphic headshots, melting Nazi faces, propellor based dissections and amateur heart surgery.
Add YouTube to a place you can’t go for fear of #DoctorStrange spoilers. Literally the day before release, some absolute joke of a human has posted a scene with a massive spoiler IN THE TITLE. Just let people enjoy shit without ILLEGALLY RECORDING IT and ruining the surprise.

Dan Stevens has always been great, but to witness him picking this one up and burying it in the top corner from 40 yards out is just absolutely magnificent.

#nowwatching Shutter Island. The use of On The Nature of Daylight is making me want to rewatch Arrival, but I don’t know if I am in the headspace to have a good sob.
