In the last race on the track, we get the only Sectional winner for Maine South of the meet! Our 4 x 400 relay of Josie Hennes, Sarah Mendoza, Lauren Marogil, and Sofia Arcuri had the winning time of 4:04.38!

We had 2 qualified win the 800 m Run. Junior Sofia Arcuri qualified from the slowest heat in a school record time of 2:16.63! Freshman Tessie Bradley qualified with a time of 2:20.29!

Our sole winner of an event at New Trier was Freshman Sarah Mendoza who won the 400 m Dash is a season’s best time of 1:00.26! Congrats!

Congrats to Sofia Arcuri & Olivia DeLuca who ran in the fast heat of the Batavia Distance Madness last night. Sofia received a medal for finishing in 3rd with a time of 5:06. Olivia’s time was 5:16. Great job girls!
