ALT Happy and sad news all at once: our founder, Florence Schechter will be stepping down as Director. After seven years of dedicated cervix, she’ll be moving on to the next phase of her career! We’re incredibly proud of everything that Florence has achieved in her term as Director. To thank Florence for everything she’s done to make the Vagina Museum happen and celebrate her achievements over the past seven years, we’re raising £4,900: £700 for each year as Director! Donations will help smooth this transition period. Florence’s tenure has come, in a full circle. Our new exhibition, Museum of Mankind, opens later this month. This exhibition was originally conceived as a pop-up, back before we had a fixed premises. Now, after the seven years of Florence’s leadership, we’re thrilled to bring it back in our long-term home! We literally wouldn’t be here without Florence, and we’re so proud and grateful to her - we can’t wait to see what she does next!
