This is a bad call by Governor Gianforte. Montanans can’t risk their healthcare provider shutting down. The Governor should be pulling every lever to make sure Montanans can get the healthcare they need.
Despite pushback from a bipartisan group of lawmakers, the Montana health department will move forward with its plan to nix Medicaid rate increases to address budget woes. missoulian.com/news/state-re…

When a majority of Montanans find it difficult to afford transportation, healthcare, and groceries, something has gone deeply wrong. During the interim and for next year’s legislative session, we’re laser focused on creating a Montana we can all afford.

Next session, Rep. Paul Tuss of Havre will bring a bill that stops powerful insiders from gaming the process. “It’s not about one party or the other party, it’s about a functioning democracy and putting faith in the voters instead of inside players within the political system.”

After receiving our letter, we’re glad to see the Gianforte Administration reverse course. We’re always looking out for Freedom of Speech and the right to assemble. The Capitol is the People’s House.
The Montana Department of Administration is considering revising a recent policy change that restricts weekend rallies at the Capitol in Helena, according to department director Misty Ann Giles. buff.ly/A6A9csJ

Gov. Gianforte just vetoed a bill that would have funded school meals for all MT kids. This common-sense bill was a cost-effective way to improve kids’ success in the classroom. Call or email Gianforte to hold him accountable for letting kids go hungry in school!

A bill to ban Styrofoam is a prime example of unnecessary, costly government overreach. Let’s save taxpayer dollars and allow Montana businesses to serve hot coffee in whatever cups they choose.
