Strengthening Strategic Communication at MUBS
Today, the
@MUBSPRO held a productive engagement with Mr. Agaba Issa Mugabo, Branding and Marketing Manager at
@Makerere. This meeting follows his earlier engagement with the institution’s top management held on 4 March 2026, which focused on strengthening strategic communication, brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across the university.
In today’s session, Mr. Agaba met with the Public Relations team, including the publications unit, social media team and website team, to further align our communication efforts with the broader institutional branding strategy. The discussion emphasized the importance of coordinated messaging, strong media engagement and maintaining a consistent brand identity across all platforms and partnerships.
The meeting was chaired by the Head of Department, Mr. Peter Odoki, and provided valuable insights on how the PR Office can continue enhancing the visibility and reputation of Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
