Amorim and Carrick were given two completely different jobs. Amorim was brought in to implement a style of play - to reset habits, build structure, and change the identity of the team. That takes time. It also costs points in the short term. Carrick, on the other hand, is here for six months with one clear objective: get United into the Champions League. Nothing more. Nothing less. Short-term coaching is about maximising points. Long-term coaching is about building something sustainable. Thatโ€™s why Carrick can collect more points with the same players Amorim was rebuilding. Amorim refused to take the easy route - sitting deep, playing safe, chasing quick fixes. He stuck to the process even when it hurt him. Some fans look at the table. Others look at the direction. Thatโ€™s the difference.

He knows a huge club when he sees one. The perfect project to prove this plastic fans wrong and the so called โ€œmanager at heartโ€.

Ruben Amorim did not fail at Manchester United. People keep pointing to his win percentage as proof that he did. But football isn't played on spreadsheets. And win percentages don't tell the whole story.

"New Manager." Yes, you read it right. Not the head coach. "I came to Manchester United to be the manager of Manchester United and not the head coach."

There are Manchester United fans who wants Amorim to fail when he gets the Milan job more than they want Carrick to succeed at Manchester United. You are stressed because you know if Amorim does well with AC Milan it will mean United failed to back and support him properly. Itโ€™s my hope that Carrick wins all his games next season and at least win one trophy in his career.

After all these talks and pr, they went ahead to appoint a championship coach who did nothing at Boro. This same handle would hype Carrick and try to make it look like heโ€™s better than all the names on this list but heโ€™s nowhere close. The plan was to get someone better than Amorim not someone heโ€™s better than. We have settled for less and I hope no one complains when it starts playing out.
๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ @RobDorsettSky: "Man Utd have learned a lesson from appointing Ruben Amorim and Erik ten Hag before him that they need someone who is one of the elite of world coaching, someone who is a big name who has the personality to cope with the size of club Man Utd is and the unique challenges it poses. You are talking about Thomas Tuchel, Carlo Ancelotti, Roberto De Zerbi, Luis Enrique, Marco Silva, Oliver Glasner - big names who Man Utd think would be able to cope with the size of the job this is. When Amorin was sacked last week, we learned that he had told confidants he was surprised how much nose there was around the Man Utd role and how big the job was. So I do not think Man Utd will make the same mistake again and appoint an up-and-coming coach, they want someone who has been there and done it. But Carrick is the man in possession, he has an opportunity. He has an horrific start against Man City at home and Arsenal away, but if he can get results in those two matches, there will be a positive mood to take United through the rest of the season." [Sky]

This should tell you all that one bad shouldnโ€™t change all the goods you have been doing. Ruben Amorim had been a very good manager, wanted by European top clubs, even before Manchester United went for him and you all think he will change from being a good manager to a bad one because Manchester United board refused to back him?? Clubs are not like you fans who painted him the worst coach in our history, Clubs saw the vision you all refused to see, Ac Milan saw what he wanted to do and everyone knew he did well with the recruitment last year and that is what counts, not the matches he lost with mid players. Ruben Amorim MUST do well at AC MiLAN! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Amorim is our worst coach in history but was rejecting clubs coming after him. Even Jose the big man was taking jobs from Fenerbahรงe. This is a man that knows his worth and I so much love his ego. You' all will learn in 2 years time . I always say , time is the best teacher.

For this alone , they should be thanking Amorim for saving us some few pounds , but rather look at them all over the timeline , they are more invested in Amorim failing at AC Milan than they are with Carrick succeeding at Man Utd. Confused homosapiens.

Told yโ€™all that underrated Morocco. Brazil is not a serious team. When I saw Casemiro, Bruno G and Fabinho, I knew that midfield was going to flop. Morocco had no names in that midfield but look at the technicality the whole team played with. Kudos to Morocco ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ ๐Ÿ‘
How do you claim to be a knowledgeable football fan and you think Morocco ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ would be a walkover for Brazil ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท?๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ Incase youโ€™re forgetting, Morocco is the first African and Arab Nation to reach the World Cup semifinals. They are currently ranked 7th in FIFA RANKINGS.

Amorim on Ugarte: He is not the player I knew anymore. Goes on to start him only twice last season. Amorim on Mainoo: He is the future of Man Utd , that is my feelings. He just needs to wait for his chance. Then went on to block the move for a loan when Mainoo wanted to leave.
Amorim Sold Mateus Fernandes From Sporting To Southampton, Amorim Almost Sold Mainoo When He Was Here, How Can A Manager Prefer Wrestlers With Poor Technical Ability E.g Gallagher & Ugarte Over Technically Assured Ballers In Mateus & Mainoo? Ans; AMORIM WAS A POOR FOOTBALLER

PS: Ruben never ever wanted Kobbie sold !! I did not like how he handled the Kobbie issue, freezing him out like that, wasnโ€™t cool. I was always 50/50 with Ruben when he was here. But he never ever wanted Kobbie sold, there are so many interviews where he reiterated that Kobbie was the future of this club, and he blocked a loan move for him too. Context matters.
