They are a living monument to our arrogance and cruelty, reminders of how far we are willing to go to twist life into something it was never meant to be.
When I look at them, I do not see soldiers. I see hollow shells, prisoners of their own bodies, trapped in a state of perpetual suffering. And worse, I see usβthose who allowed this to happen.
