The real mentality test is not believing in your character, but believing in YOURSELF to the point where you know you can win anyways despite the character.
Random Nintendo direct predictions:
Something Xenoblade, but not a new mainline game
No Smash
Too much time dedicated to Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave
A new IP that people are mixed about
Viva Piñata
Final Fantasy X
Fantastic game. Great story with great turn based combat. Had a handful of early 2000s-ism that didn't age well but otherwise not a while lot to complain about. One of the best main casts I've seen in a JRPG, just wish the villains were on that same level

Persona 2: Innocent Sin
WOW, what a game! Narratively, this game exceeded all expectation. For me, this is easily the best Persona story (and 3-5 are great!). Gameplay was grindy, but I played on emulator with a turbo button, so it didn't significantly worsen my experience

My Massachusetts player highlight for May 2026 goes to bevo!
Everyone is reading this like L4st trying to come back to the community but...doesn't he basically have to do this? He's a public figure facing defamation. Even if he did it he's not legally guilty so he kind of needs to clear himself, even if he has no intention of returning.
I'm thinking if he's going for a normal career or something, his future employer would surely google his name and find these accusations. He's going to want a defense for that, even if he doesn't interact with the smash scene again.
Some dude at the OneUp venue (not here for the tournament) is playing Persona 5 on the PS5 and just got to *that* part and spoiled everyone in the room LMAO
Persona 2 is an interesting game because you're just casually saving people from a terrorist attack at your white kung-fu girlfriend's J-pop concert, then minutes later you are accused of summoning demons for the Führer.
"I wanted to force my game on Sunday so much that I screwed over other ones with organic commumitiws that would also want that spot but its fine because I saw smash in 2016."
I need at least one week without a smasher doing or saying something weird shit. This is nonsense.
My Smash feed occasionally resurfaces discussions of rape and SA accusations, so I catered my feed to focus more on pro hockey. Unfortunately, that circle is now also full of rape and SA accusations.
Anyone got any fun circles or is Twitter just like this now?
Xenoblade 2 is a 4 hour game that had the same players tied for first TWICE in its history. We don't count milliseconds.
The "unnecessary problem" was we just had two record holders for a bit. No big deal
Smash Ultimate's meta being shit is just the result of a competitive game being played for a very long time.
ANY fighting game will be lame and stale after a 5 years when the meta develops fully people know what needs to be done in order to win
A good example is UMVC3
I’m sorry hero bounce is absolutely the most overrated move in the game. When he uses it, you just don’t use projectiles. I’ve never seen a hero get utility out of this move unless their opponent is an idiot
