You don't eat Calories & you don't burn Calories. An infinitesimal mass from the food you eat is converted to energy in your mitochondria. That energy can be measured in Calories. The 'weight' you want to lose is excreted- mostly as CO2. You hope it's fat. Anything else is BS.

Wait ... that was a decade ago?
The deal with Iran will go down as one of the most incompetent ever made. The U.S. lost on virtually every point. We just don't win anymore!

As more details of the peace 'MOU' come to light, it's pretty clear that it is like the an Iranian Marshall Plan of economic rebuilding where, to further the analogy, Hitler stays in full control and Germany remains armed.

Anyone who says Russia is not our enemy is either a useful idiot or a paid shill. Or both. I'm saying this as someone with British and Russian passports in my drawer, who spent a huge chunk of his life there, probably half his career. I watched Russia transform from a communist dictatorship to the wild capitalist mess of the 1990s, and back into a dictatorship. My parents are still in Moscow. They spent most of their lives quietly dismantling the Soviet Union from within, and they tell me Vladimir Putin's regime is an order of magnitude more vicious and less honourable than the Soviet dictatorship ever was. This is a country of over 100 million people where state propaganda pumps neo-imperialist, resentment-driven ideology into everyone's heads, in methods not that dissimilar to Hamas in Gaza. It produces 30,000 volunteers, easy, willing and happy to kill Ukrainians for money. They genuinely believe they're fighting Nazism and @NATO. They genuinely believe that in their offensive operations against Ukraine, they're actually defending Russia. And it's not a Third World banana republic. Not by any stretch of imagination. It can build factories, real estate, and weapons. Its ballistic missile programmes have enough original science and research there to make their defence R&D genuinely dangerous. So you have an adversary with the will to fight and the ideology that supports it. You have an enemy who can generate the human forces to conduct military operations, the cash to pay people to die, to pay scientists to research, to pay companies to manufacture weapons - ballistic missiles to submarines, the entire production cycle. And you have an army that's probably the most combat-tested in Europe after Ukraine's. If Russian forces came into contact with NATO in a conventional, WWI-slash-WWII-plus-drones type conflict, it would take months if not years until we'd figure out how to actually fight them. Any military analyst will tell you that if a country has the intention, the resources, and the capability to prosecute a war, they will do so. Russia is our enemy. And our @UKLabour government, which understands this full well, isn't investing enough in our defence forces to get them ready for the war that will happen - that is guaranteed to happen. Unless we rearm to a level where even the most cynical calculation by the most ruthless dictator would work out that attacking NATO's European flank, with the UK in it, would exact such an enormous cost that Vladimir Putin would think twice before doing it.

FOX: "President Trump VOWS to hold a press conference to read the full memorandum of understanding with Iran word-by-word to make sure the media covers it fairly." TRUMP: "... I'll probably ... read it to you word by word ..." Fox is not journalism, it's state propaganda.
BREAKING: President Trump vows to hold a press conference to read the full memorandum of understanding with Iran word-by-word to make sure the media covers it fairly. "I will actually not only release it, I'll probably have a press conference and read it to you word-by-word, so that the press covers it accurately, because it's, it's a very important document." "And, unlike Obama, who could have destroyed the Middle East with a horrible JCPoA, it is the worst agreement that was a road to a nuclear weapon. Mine is a wall against a nuclear weapon."

Times Exclusive … Inside the White House Freakout Over the Epstein Files NYT Gift article Listen · 46:50 min June 10, 2026 Maggie Haberman & Jonathan Swan nytimes.com/2026/06/10/magaz… Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, White House reporters for The Times, are the authors of the forthcoming “Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump.” This article is drawn from reporting done for that book The president’s top advisers gathered in a series of Situation Room meetings as they struggled to contain a scandal engulfing Donald Trump himself. On July 17, 2025, at around 6 o’clock in the evening, President Trump’s top officials filed into the White House Situation Room — the secure bunker where classified and high-stakes national security matters are discussed and decided. This was where President Barack Obama, along with Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the president’s national security team, watched the raid that ended with the death of Osama bin Laden in 2011. Now, however, Trump’s most senior advisers had gathered — without him — to figure out how to gain some measure of control over a very different kind of crisis threatening to engulf the presidency: the Epstein files. Ten days earlier, the Justice Department and the F.B.I. had jointly released a memo that bluntly stated that their review had found no “client list” of powerful men for whom the notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein had allegedly procured underage girls and young women. Intended to put to rest years of speculation and end the pressure campaign to release the voluminous material in the department’s possession, the memo instead had the opposite effect, setting off a backlash that was notably loud among the MAGA base. And it was about to get worse: The Wall Street Journal was preparing a damaging article about Trump’s relationship with Epstein. The president’s desperate attempts to kill the story had failed. His team now had to get everyone onto the same page about how to counter the growing swarm of attention. They needed a gesture of transparency to appease an increasingly angry base, but also a way to convey the message that the president was sympathetic to his supporters’ concerns. Which itself was a problem, because he clearly wasn’t. Vice President JD Vance took a seat at the head of the table in the John F. Kennedy Conference Room of the Situation Room complex. “This is a huge problem,” he told the group. Arrayed around him were the White House chief of staff, Susie Wiles; the White House counsel, David Warrington; the press secretary, Karoline Leavitt; the deputy chief of staff Taylor Budowich; the communications director, Steven Cheung; the deputy attorney general, Todd Blanche; the associate attorney general, Stanley Woodward Jr.; and the deputy chief of staff James Blair. Attorney General Pam Bondi and the F.B.I. director, Kash Patel, joined on speakerphone. The vice president appeared panicked to others in the room about the way the subject of Epstein was already dividing the MAGA coalition. Some senior officials had the impression that Vance had bought into the darkest theories about Epstein and a cabal of predators hidden within the country’s ruling class. Wiles would tell others that the vice president had proved himself to be a major conspiracy theorist. Another top official said later that Vance had been pounding on the Epstein issue since the release of the memo. He was privately pressing for the administration to release all the Epstein files, everything in the Justice Department’s possession, even encouraging a congressional investigation. Vance had also floated to colleagues an extraordinary P.R. gambit — that the White House enlist Tucker Carlson to interview Epstein’s longtime girlfriend and co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, in prison. It might help the president if Maxwell was willing to state that Trump had not been part of any wrongdoing with Epstein. Vance told the group he believed all the files should be released as soon as possible. He argued that Congress was going to force the release of the files eventually. It was already clear that a bipartisan coalition in favor of such action was forming on Capitol Hill, and the momentum was going in one direction. If the administration got out ahead of this and released everything voluntarily — including whatever material existed about the president — it would at least get credit for transparency. The alternative was to let the story drag on for months as information dripped out, each new revelation renewing the cycle of suspicion and fury. Better to rip the bandage off and move on. "He stressed Russia's adherence to ... Trump-Putin summit in Anchorage ... anticipates ... Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner ..." Translation: "We are getting desperate & want the terms we rejected before." Too late comrade, the US is out & the deals get worse from here.
Lavrov said Witkoff and Kushner will visit Russia soon. He also said European diplomats offered nothing new on Ukraine and warned that Europe is wrong to think it can issue ultimatums to Moscow.

Apparently now even single cell algae are left-wing agents. Delulu
President Trump fixes the reflecting pool and a week later it’s green again, loaded with algae… Sabotage… Vandalism? I believe it is. The left can’t stand Trump, American greatness and his quest to make DC beautiful again. What a shame!

Transparency is a good thing. MAGA: "See the conspiracies were true." Now release all of the #EpsteinFiles to see if those "conspiracies about trump" are true.
Today, I’m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine. In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what “research” is being conducted. odni.gov/index.php/newsroom/…

Mearsheimer is deluded or worse. Putin is consumed to rebuild the USSR using military force or subversion. He's said russia's borders never end & that wherever his soldiers step, it becomes russia. I don't know why anyone listens to this idiot in professor's clothes.
Prof. John Mearsheimer: There's no evidence that Putin wants this war. Putin has never said he had any interest in conquering all of Ukraine, much less reestablishing the Soviet Empire in Eastern Europe. I don't understand what the threat scenario is that you plan against if you're the West.

I guess many will believe him but honestly this is absurd! Other than it affects all of our lives one would be tempted not to give a shit about the orange clown. Trump has done nothing to Make America Great Again.
🔥CNBC REALLY ROLLED THE RECEIPTS ON TRUMP’S IRAN CLAIMS The network just aired a video compilation dating back to March 23 of Trump repeatedly saying a deal with Iran is “very close". So far, Trump has made 39 claims, while Iran has not accepted a deal once. US: 39 Iran: 0

If trump is allowed to run in 2028, who would you prefer to see run against him: @HunterBiden or @BarackObama?

Hey @HunterBiden you has similar favored treatment as fellow 'truth seekers' Howard Lutnick, Pam Bondi, & Tod Blanche who weren't publicly deposed under video by @RepJamesComer ? Do you think they will follow your lead to use X to reach the US public to explain themselves?

Excess weight causes almost every chronic disease because the human mind best makes connection from observation & metabolism is invisible. Best we apply reason without prejudice to eliminate association. How many of Bradford Hill's criteria does this satisfy? @garytaubes

"If Russia starts isolating itself again, if it starts insisting on its own 'messianism' - it will once again be plunged into a terrible historical quagmire." This was said in 1995. Even then, intelligent people understood what the restoration of the Soviet Union and totalitarianism would lead to. But orcs still don't understand anything today.

It's going to be a great party where after we watch a Colosseum fight, the next week we can hear about the ballroom, pond, arch, & everything about trump's success in making America greater. Does anyone know where the celebration of 250 years of US independence is going to be?
