I am trying to think of whether Shelley has physically harmed a character younger than 16. At 16 they're automatically signed up on the sexual predation waiting list, but for children it's just their parents dying. I'm surprised Raymond/Perdita are still alive, frankly.

This has been going on for a sixth of the book, and Shelley writes long books. 100 pages of 'English aristocrats do not like being poor.' Now you know why my updates are so slow. There's little to say and it's a grind reading through this part.
