The work that Craig did for both league and club is quite truly amazing, but more importantly we will miss his sharp wit and humour!

Madeley Cricket Club are absolutely devastated to announce that our friend Craig Simms has unfortunately passed away yesterday.
Craig was a hugely popular and well loved man, not just across the club but throughout the whole cricketing community.

Whilst fulfilling many of the jobs which often go unnoticed in cricket, Craig always made sure everyone was greeted with warmth, a smile & some fantastic banter.
Craig will be deeply missed by everyone, not just at the club & across the whole of Shropshire cricket.
