The only film he disowns made out of anger against the audience #bharathiraaja
Valibame Vaa Vaa probably drew the most flak of Bharathiraja’s career. People forget that he attempted the adult comedy genre way back in 1982. Long before Kalyana Samayal Saadham, he explored a similar premise. The film was torn apart by critics and bombed.

The man who created an assembly line of amazing directors and movies and to this date stands as one of the biggest contributors to tamil cinema is no more. Rest in peace #Bharathiraja your movies and the talents you spotted will stand the test of times
3 Pillars Bharathiraja - The roots and the volume of the directors from his school is astounding Balu Mahendra - Greatest contribution especially in alternate cinema KB - School may be short on director but the volume of people he introduced and mentoring Kamal is immeasurable

So the fun question is which school do you prefer? Or is there another school which are equally legendary as this.

Bharathiraja school has more unoffical directors to add for eg Cheran is an ad of KSR, the roots just keep spreading, KB has introduced around 100 actors, technicians, combined who are current legends of Tamil cinema. The list is not complete just we tried our best to collate.

Great to see good reviews for #blast and with #ParimalaandCo releasing next week hopefully that also has good success. Think tamil cinema has finally learnt to make some simple grounded stuff and not run behind stars with broken repetitive plots. Hopefully good times ahead

Any government should not have any role to play in this. There are far more critical things for the govt to concentrate than such trivial issues. Govt can support best on making approvals clearances easier, encourage shooting on live location, support against threats etc not this

Anyone else felt the same. Feel Kara borrowed heavily from this film
Vignesh raja is trying to right something like taylor Sheridan film but he ended up making it a spoilt mismash of tamil films cliche with struggling farmer greedy banks, etc. he should have stuck to the tone of this film for a better out put than kara

#kara could have been much better if not for the over melodramatic first 30-40 minutes, only post the heist the movie takes off. This could have been made much better. D na is struggling to balance between complete brainless entertainers and well made films. Find the path dude

What begins as survival slowly turns into something darker. Join us for a screening of Onibaba (1964), Kaneto Shindo’s haunting Japanese classic set amidst endless fields of swaying grass, where fear, desire, loneliness, and desperation slowly consume the people trapped in it.

Shot in breathtaking black-and-white, Onibaba remains one of cinema’s most unforgettable explorations of human instinct and obsession. More than just horror, it’s raw, immersive, and impossible to shake off #MFSC #filmScreening
