A great start to the new year when I visited Preston HS. Making the school a place where all students feel they belong is a focus. Collaborative inquiry evident in Gr 11 Indigenous Studies & Science as well as the ACE class. Student engagement in a positive learning environment.

Thanks to Doon P.S. for excellence. Teachers Val MacDonald, Vinny Lowry, Deanna Reinhart use technology to extend math learning & reinforce facts & concepts. What I Need (WIN) groups-a timetabled intervention approach supports academic & social-emotional needs. Students first!
