Access for all women and girls.” Nearly 1 in 3 women in Zimbabwe has experienced physical violence since age 15, according to the ZDHS 2024. This is not just a statistic, it is a call to action. Rights must be protected in practice, not only promised in policy. Equality before the law must translate into: • Safe, responsive courts • Accessible and affordable legal aid • Survivor-centred systems that protect dignity and prevent re-traumatisation Justice must move from paper to practice.
