Thank you Stephen for your super kind and supportive words! Feels really good to have supporters out there!
This is EASILY the most bada$$ science being done on the planet right now. The entire world should know this. HELL YES!!!!!

Our magnet got to 44 Tesla early this morning, a success as we recorded ALOT of good data. Here is a picture of just some of the equipment we use to monitor more than 30 voltages, temperatures, and magnetic fields during the experiment—applying this knowledge to our next magnet!

We are wrapping our first magnet to attempt 60 Tesla! Hoping for success, yet planning for three attempts (different coils) in next 2 months to increase likelihood we will reach 60 Tesla. These magnets are small. These magnets are powerful. ⁦@ResonTech⁩ ⁦@ETH

Our COO @SchoenzartJas just presented our magnet technology at the Rocky Mountain NMR Symposium. She’s able to bring our magnet to the talk and hold it in her hand. Go Miniature! #NMR

SUPER conductors can carry an incredibly high electrical current without heating, NORMAL conductors (ex, Copper) don’t. So to charge our magnets to >40 Tesla we use ALOT of copper in the leads to bring >1000 Amperes to the cryostat, see black thick cables.

We have joined X! We want to keep you updated about our technology updates and everything else going on at ResonX. Below see a quench at 46.5 Tesla! Aiming for 100 Tesla.. #NMR #Magnets
Quench at 46.5 Tesla. It took us 5 days to make this magnet, and 4 days to charge to full field. We expect many more such experiments next year— move fast, learn fast. Targeting high (enough) resolution NMR >60 Tesla next year.

We are building next-gen instruments for magnetic resonance—small but powerful magnets, better gyrotrons, RF, and novel approaches to MAS. But we aren’t in this alone— only with our community together will NMR and EPR prosper. @ResonTech @ETH @SchoenzartJas #GlobalnmrOC2024

📜Hanne's JMR paper shows how binder jetting 3D printing can be used to fabricate ferromagnetic passive shims to shape magnetic fields! We hope to use this method to improve the image quality in MRI. #NMR #NMRchat #MRI #3Dprinting Check it out here: sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

New preprint available from @AMPERE_MR: Which motional time scales lead to residual dipolar couplings under MAS? Do they depend on the MAS frequency, experiments, rf-field amplitudes, or coupling strength? Investigated by PhD student Kathrin Aebischer in doi.org/10.5194/mr-2024-4

Greetings from the handheld 47 Tesla magnet scientists! We are going for NMR signal in our latest magnet— don’t have the RF Amps and Pre-Amps for 2 GHz 1H NMR (crazy high frequency for NMR!!!), so aiming to track 13C NMR up to quench of the magnet.
