Permission is absolutely necessary. You can forward any unsolicited email to the Abuse Desk at [abuse at mailchimp dot com].
Our Abuse Desk [abuse at mailchimp dot com] can determine the origin with the full email headers: eepurl.com/b2Q8CH

Just as a heads up, we don't send CC:'s in our campaigns. Those might be from a sender trying to spoof someone's identity.
Static segments can’t be edited after their creation. To add a new contact, the static segment would need to be remade.
Just to clarify is the ‘X’ working in Chrome but not in Firefox? There may be local setting in Firefox interfering with the app

Is an 'X' appearing in the top, right corner of the list when the segment is active? Clicking the 'X' should close the segment.
