WWE's current plans for Liv Morgan involve Stephanie Vaquer, but with Vaquer sidelined due to injury, those plans are on hold for now.
Liv's inclusion in the Queen of the Ring Tournament is largely to keep her featured until WWE can move forward with the Stephanie storyline.

If Liv Morgan's explanation is that "nobody is stepping up" to challenge her, then thats clearly a booking problem.
WWE has one of the deepest women's rosters it's had in years. You're telling us there isn't ONE credible challenger for the Women's Champion? Come on.
And the issue will never be a lack of talent, but a lack of consistent stories being told for the women. You can't build contenders if women disappear from TV for weeks at a time and only get featured when it's convenient for a major angle.
That's why Liv being in Queen of the Ring feels so strange to us. A reigning champion shouldn't need a tournament to stay busy. The championship itself should be generating stories, rivalries, and title defenses.
