I'm still feeling the positive energy hours after the end of our SPEAQ convention 2020. I am so happy we went through with our event, everyone made it very special #speaqesl

From what Carol Allain has to say, it just confirms how lucky we are to have such a vibrant ESL community @SPEAQesl
Thanks for a great exchange, see you for the third installment. Have a great long weekend. #SPEAQesl #ESLedchat

A5 I check on them often, making sure they are okay. I ask for mid term feedback and make adjustments to the course, the students really appreciate that. #ESLedchat #SPEAQesl

A4 I'm a big fan of GoFormative for feedback, there are many types of questions you can ask. My students really enjoy the platform. #ESLedchat #SPEAQesl

A1 I like to give out a questionnaire to collect information about them and I always include a question like: What should I know about you?" In this way I learn about any particular learning needs they may have, I often get really interesting input. #ESLedchat #SPEAQesl

A4. Basic pedagogical practices can and should always be used for example using backward design, activating prior knowledge, modeling, presenting the agenda for the course. These practices are effective in person and online. #speaqesl #esdedchat

I really enjoy using Go Formative, quick and easy to use, Socrative also works to get an overview of what students understand. #speaqesl #esledchat
I don't make videos regularly, kind of shy that way, however I really enjoy using screen recorders for assignments and documents. #speaqesl #esledchat
Go Formative is very effective, especially for formative assessment, Flip Grid is also one of my recent favorites, makes speaking come alive. #speaqesl #esledchat
