As a former people pleaser, I'll tell you this for free, don't congratulate them!
I gave birth 3 years ago, and one of my neighbors didn't visit or greet me. It took the wife two weeks to send a WhatsApp message saying congratulations. Even when I saw her husband in the compound, I had to initiate a greeting before he responded.
Fast forward, when they had their first baby, I attended their naming ceremony and brought gifts. Now, she's given birth again, and the baby's naming ceremony is tomorrow. I'm torn between attending to show support or ignoring them like they did to me. Should I go, or just send a WhatsApp congratulations?
