Spoiler:
She's against patriarchy for her obvious reasons, yet she says certain things only to the male lead and we think they are romantic.
But in the end, when you realize what she becomes, you understand what those dialogues actually meant and it horrifies you.
It breaks your heart and makes you wonder how things would have been if the male lead had the confidence to give her the respect and attention she deserved when they were teenagers.
Great show. Loved the main plot and subplot, especially how he loses confidence after moving to the city while she casually fits into city life because of her generational wealth and brain. But can't rewatch knowing what she becomes.
