if you have a kid who loves building things; get them a 3d printer. right now. don’t wait for “when they’re older” or “when school teaches them CAD.” give them the machine that turns imagination into atoms. a 3d printer isn’t just a toy; it’s a gateway drug to engineering. they’ll learn mechanics, design, tolerance, iteration, failure, material science; all before high school. every print teaches them that the world is malleable. that you can build what you think. that’s the kind of mindset that builds the future.
