That said, on-chain has its own failure mode.
Smart contracts are irreversible. Euler Finance lost $197M on Ethereum in 2023 via a flash loan exploiting a single logic flaw, with no recourse.
For equities, centralised platforms add dispute resolution and a fraud team.
On-chain instead has neutral and more efficient settlement. No business interests, no capital constraints, no clearinghouse calling at 7am.

Robinhood putting this in front of millions of retail users is net positive. More people running simple rules-based strategies automatically is a good outcome.
The harder question is what happens as agents handle more capital and move faster. The difference between "the platform promises to enforce limits" and "the contract enforces limits" stops being academic.
The strategy is still yours. Make sure the rails are too.
