It's been how many days that they have been captured? Tell me?
How many days more do they have to be held captive before they are rescued? Tell me?
Well, we all know what we're doing sah, so enjoy.
Illiteracy is indeed a disease.
How exactly is the Oyo State Government supposed to grant anyone permission to launch an independent rescue operation when the kidnappers themselves released a video threatening to kill another victim if another confrontation is attempted?
These are not political talking points. These are human lives.
What intelligence does the proposed operation by Iru Ekun have regarding the kidnappers’ locations, movement patterns, weapon capacity, escape routes, and hostage conditions? What guarantees exist that a fresh assault won’t trigger the execution of innocent children currently in captivity?
The priority right now should not be who gets credit for a rescue mission. The priority should be bringing every victim home alive.
Security operations involving hostages are delicate. Across the world, law enforcement and security agencies often prioritize negotiation, intelligence gathering, surveillance, and coordinated intervention because a rushed approach can cost innocent lives.
This is not the time for ego, politics, or public grandstanding. It is the time for everyone; community leaders, security agencies, traditional institutions, and government authorities to work together to ensure the safe release of those children.
No rescue operation is successful if the hostages don’t make it back alive.
