We’ve listened to all the election speeches from the children in Year 5 who have put themselves forward as candidates to be next year’s House Captains. Then we placed our votes in the ballot box. We can’t wait to hear the results this afternoon.

We completed ‘Dance for Diabetes!’ It was a brilliant atmosphere on the school field and everyone danced their hearts out! We then did some yoga to relax afterwards. Don’t forget to return your sponsorship forms by the end of the week. #greatsankeysports

This afternoon we have designed brand new fruit-based products in our DT lesson. We had to think about the fruit and the flavour of the jelly in our fruit jellies, the name of the product and the label. We need people to want to try it! 😋

Today we became little gardeners in science and planted sunflower, radish, mustard and cress seeds. We are going to observe them over the next 4 weeks and see if they turn into seedlings! We learnt they need air, sunlight and water. #greatsankeyscience

What an exciting start to our week, we had a workshop with Curtis Jobling - the famous author and illustrator and past pupil of GSP! We loved listening to Raa Raa the Noisy Lion and Bob the Builder and especially learning how to draw some of his characters.

Congratulations to these superstars who finished 7th overall in the NW Great Big Dance Off regional heat out of 20 schools. They were also the best school in Warrington! Watch out for them performing their amazing routine again at this year’s summer fayre. @GtSankeyPrimary
