Elon ➡️ DC Tony Trisciani replaced him as head coach (Active).
JMU ⬇️
⏺️DC Corey Hetherman went on to become a Power 4 DC (Miami).
⏺️DC Bryant Haines followed him to Indiana and remained DC.
That’s not random.
Under Cignetti, the DC role isn’t a holding spot. It’s either a launch point, or a succession track.
That tells you something about how he builds and empowers his defensive staff.
