Northmont AD Micah Harding praised the resiliency and attitude of the @NThunderbolts football players and coaches and said he's heartbroken for them all as an undefeated season ends with a forfeit because of a positive COVID-19 test.

Northmont ends 8-0; other unbeaten Bolt teams, mostly in the 1970-80s with coach Ned Booher. Would have been a record third playoff game with a big asterisk for a COVID-impacted schedule scramble. Still, a Bolts dream season that will never have a wake-up call.

Due to a positive test on the team, along with contact tracing and quarantine protocols tonight's playoff football game will not be played. Northmont will not advance in the state playoffs. We appreciate the support of Thunderbolt Nation during this amazing season. #GoBolts
