Margam Castle in Margam Country Park near Port Talbot in South Wales. One of our local trips this summer and highly recommended. Beautiful grounds with plenty of walks matched with decades of history!

#TedOnTour continues @Margampark , a 850 acre country estate.
Its Orangery, built in 1790 remains to be one of the largest of its kind in the country.
Margam Castle's interior was gutted in 1977 by a fire, the restoration continues.
In 2025 it will host the Urdd Eisteddfod. 🏴

We all enjoyed our visit to @Margampark on Friday. A two mile walk allowed us to take in Margam Castle, the deer park and the farm trail, where we all got to know Taffi and Uncle Bryn, the resident alpacas. Well recommended 🏰🦌🦙@AneurinBevanUHB @M33CMK
