Or woo is hurt & headed to IL (hope not)

As the front office suggested upon going back to a 6-man rotation, they intended to reassess after the road trip.
It appears that’s taking place.

Seems like we could be seeing a Kirby/woo piggyback game 2 against orioles
Both guys struggling last month or so. Could make sense for this 1 time thru then back to 6 man next week with 8 games in a row
Probables for Mariners-Orioles series:
Tuesday: Logan Gilbert vs. Brandon Young
Wednesday: George Kirby vs. Kyle Bradish
Thursday: TBA vs. Shane Baz
Mariners have not announced whether they will continue with a six-man rotation.

Traded for Tyson miller 2 years ago & Pomeranz last yr
The diff is miller & pomeranz were throwing it well - still annoyed we didn't give pomeranz a look last year

Current pace has him at about a 2.5 fWAR player but with his improved defense I could see him settle in as a 3.5-4 WAR player in future years
Quite valuable
Biggest question is can he become serviceable against LH, bc he's been rough there
Really nice player at just 22 y/o

Cole young is sitting right at 100 wRC on the yr but his expected avg & slug higher than actually, so likely should be closer to 110
Turning into a really nice player & I think there's a fair amount there as he continues to grow as a player

Have been intrigued by Rucker all year. Logged fair amount of innings for cubs from 21-23
2022: 55 IP & 3.95 ERA
solid K numbers all 3 years w/ dismal results then injuries hit
"OK" underlying data in Tacoma. Potentially a mid leverage arm w/ 123 mlb innings under his belt

With the guardians loss today, the Mariners can become the 2nd seed "if the playoffs started today"
While the szn has provided plenty of frustration, the team has weathered the injury storm relatively well
