Mr. Blech and a handful of Marion students have been busy exploring WWII sites in Europe- today was Omaha Beach in Normandy, France- one of five beaches that saw the largest amphibious invasions in history- D-Day, June 6th, 1944.

Marion Transition Center visited the Spirit Cafe for lunch on Friday. The Spirit Cafe is a student-run cafe in the heart of Oskaloosa. What an amazing day for students to learn skills, earn credits, & serve their community! They also showcased student-made merchandise to buy!

Students were able to attend Hospitality Day at Kirkwood. Students learned about the programs offered at the Kirkwood Hotel and Learning Center while meeting current students and staff. Students enjoyed learning about the endless career possibilities in these fields.
