Embarking on the Zittau Way, a pilgrimage route that goes from Zittau in Saxony, Germany through central Bohemia. It is actually the east end of the European ‘Camino’, eventually joining Santiago. Stayed in Kryštofovo Údolí, or (St) Christopher’s Valley, perfect for pilgrims!

Launch of the Walsingham Way from King’s Lynn to Walsingham. The 29-mile route takes in such delights as the ruins of the Norman Castle Rising Castle and the sublime angel roof at St Mary’s, South Creake. We were also accompanied by Margery Kempe on a short segment of the route

A pilgrimage route is being launched from King’s Lynn Minster to Walsingham (Walsingham Way Part 2) on 6th June. It follows the medieval route Margery Kempe, Hanseatic traders, pilgrims, kings & queens would have taken. Walking is good for you: solvitur ambulando!

This week we’ve been praying for the local police force. A memorial service took place on the Festival of St Michael’s and All Angels. St Michael is patron saint of police officers. Thank you to our police officers who try and keep King’s Lynn and the Borough safe.
