I’ve decided to attribute this little run up of 3 or 4 spots in the ranks to the absolute barrage of shit posting I’ve been doing lately for no reason at all.

This.
🧵 Coinbase and AWS just pushed x402 into the spotlight. Websites and APIs running on @awscloud CloudFront and WAF can now accept payments directly from AI agents through x402. Most people are focusing on @coinbase But one blockchain may already be better positioned than many realize: @Algorand 👇 x402 transforms the old HTTP 402 “Payment Required” status code into a native payment layer for the internet. Instead of subscriptions, accounts or credit cards, AI agents can pay for data, services and API calls in real time. Machine-to-machine commerce is no longer theoretical. It is being built today. What many investors may have missed is that Algorand has already completed full integration across the x402 stack. The specification was merged with Coinbase. The Facilitator is live through @GoPlausible Bazaar is running. The tooling is ready. This means developers can already build pay-per-API services, micropayments, machine-to-machine payments and agentic commerce on Algorand. Why does that matter? Because AI agents require a very specific type of payment infrastructure. Transactions must be fast. Settlement must be final. Fees must be extremely low. Otherwise paying fractions of a cent for thousands of API requests becomes impractical. This is where @AlgoFoundation starts to stand out. The network provides instant finality, low transaction costs and infrastructure specifically suited for high-frequency machine payments. There is also a technical advantage that deserves more attention. Algorand supports Atomic Grouping. Multiple transactions can be bundled together and either all execute successfully or none execute at all. For machine payments, API access and automated settlement flows, that creates powerful possibilities that many blockchains cannot easily replicate. Another overlooked connection is AWS itself. Algorand node infrastructure is already available through AWS Marketplace, allowing developers to deploy blockchain infrastructure directly inside the AWS ecosystem. At the same time, the network remains broadly distributed. According to Nodely data, only around 8% of Algorand nodes are hosted on AWS, while more than 90% operate across hundreds of independent networks worldwide. Compatibility without dependency. And the story extends beyond Coinbase. Algorand is also listed as an official partner of Google’s Agentic Payments Protocol (AP2). Different protocols. Different organizations. The same direction. Building payment infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. There is another reason why this matters. As AI adoption accelerates, security becomes increasingly important. @Google’s 2026 quantum security paper highlighted Algorand as a real-world example of post-quantum cryptographic development. The paper specifically referenced Algorand’s implementation of post-quantum digital signature technology. Coinbase has also cited Algorand as one of the first blockchain networks actively moving toward post-quantum readiness. Taken individually, none of these developments guarantee success. But together they paint an interesting picture. x402 integration. GoPlausible Facilitator support. Atomic Grouping. AWS deployment infrastructure. Google AP2 participation. Post-quantum cryptography. The future internet may not be built only for humans. It may also be built for machines. And if AI agents become economic actors, they will need payment rails that are fast, cheap, programmable and secure. Algorand appears to be preparing for exactly that future. @Algorand @AlgoFoundation @GoPlausible @coinbase #ALGO

I was just remembering how @Google singled out @Algorand as the only major layer 1 blockchain with real world post quantum cryptography deployed on its mainnet. That was cool. share.google/aimode/Dlokgzu8…

I was just remembering when @coinbase Quantum Computing Council prominently featured @Algorand as “among the first blockchain platforms to deploy post-quantum (PQ) signature schemes in production across both consensus-related mechanisms and the execution layer.” That was cool.

This.
Everyone is still valuing $Algorand like it’s just another L1. Meanwhile: • Integrated into Coinbase’s x402 ecosystem for AI-to-AI and machine payments. • Full support for HTTP 402 native payment flows. • Built for agentic commerce, micropayments, APIs and autonomous AI transactions. • Real-world RWA adoption continues to grow. • Executed the first live MainNet transaction secured with NIST-selected Falcon post-quantum signatures. • One of the very few blockchains actively preparing for the quantum era today. AI payments ✅ RWA ✅ Post-Quantum Security ✅ Instant Finality ✅ The market is still pricing ALGO like it’s 2022. What happens when Wall Street finally realizes Algorand is positioning itself for AI, RWA, and the post-quantum future at the same time?

$ALGO already cleared Japan's regulatory bar. Now the 4th largest economy is pulling crypto into traditional finance: 20% tax by 2028, digital assets reclassified as financial products, the mainstream stamp of approval. Algorand is on the JVCEA Green List, FSA-overseen, fast-tracked for Japanese exchanges. Early to the list. Ready for the wave.

🧵 While many people focus on price, infrastructure tells a different story. @Algorand celebrated 7 years since Block 0. 62 million blocks later, the network is still running. No downtime. No restarts. No interruptions. For a blockchain, reliability is not a headline. It is the foundation. Because when stablecoins, tokenized assets and AI-driven payments move on-chain, the network simply has to work. Every time. Algorand’s track record is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. Over the past months, the network has appeared in discussions around: • Real-world asset tokenization • USDC infrastructure • Coinbase x402 integration • Agentic payments • Post-quantum security • Digital debt standards At the same time, Coinbase and Google have both highlighted Algorand’s work on post-quantum cryptography. That does not guarantee future success. But it shows that Algorand is building for the long term rather than chasing short-term narratives. Markets eventually reward utility. And utility requires infrastructure that is secure, scalable and reliable. 62 million blocks later, Algorand is still proving exactly that. 🤝 @AlgoFoundation @Algorand $ALGO
On this day 7 years ago, we produced block 0 on Algorand. 62 million blocks later, we're still running. No hitches, no downtime, not once. Here's to the next 7.

"Instant finality" with $ALGO! So what you ask? So this, once a transaction is confirmed on the #Algorand blockchain, it's immediately and irreversibly recorded, eliminating the risk of it being altered or reversed. This feature enhances security, efficiency, and reliability.
Algorand has instant finality. Every transaction is final the moment it’s confirmed, no forks, no reversals, no waiting. Most chains are fast. Algorand is final. Via @chainspect_app
