I'm trying dutch Bakbloedwurst for the first time in a late breakfast butty with egg and cheese... it's more spicy than I'd have expected, which isn't really necessary in a blood sausage, but quite tasty

I think my body clock is almost back to normal after returning from holiday in Vietnam. Slowly picking up again on my writing after that three week hiatus: "Ghost Ship" is at 70k words, and the novella-length "Spirits of the Hunnebed" is at 12k words.

Tomorrow I go dark for three weeks. Three weeks vacation, without a laptop to write, without limited wifi and phone connectivity... no writing for three whole weeks, except the traditional pen and paper approach for making notes ready for when I return. π±

Hopefully when I return, I'll have a letter from the gemeente waiting about my naturalisation, and I'll have enough hand-written notes to complete my short Novella "Spirits of the Hunnebed"
